Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I’ve been inspired to draw some fantasy illustrations after realizing that it’s genre I haven’t drawn much of lately, and because swords. The ogre character is kind of the main event in this scene so he needed to have lots of detail, and because he lives out in the forest everything he owns is strapped to his belt. Since there are no giant monster tailors the ogre’s armour and weapons are crudely constructed out of found items and animal skins. The adventurer group was loosely inspired by warm memories of my old role-playing days as a kid. Each of my friends had a favourite character they would each play as. I usually played as the dwarven fighter, because axes.
Ye old tattoo parlour
Where else would an ogre go to get his ink? The ogre’s tattoos show his ogre pals important things about him like his interests, skills and his favourite drinks.

The final illustration was completed in illustrator.
Part of a SciFi illustration I have been working on. Inspired by1950’s science magazines, and the odd utopian future they predicted. This is a detail of the modern living quarters on a space station. Created in Illustrator.
